Useful SatNav Security feature :-)
23. Feb 2010 at 17:08

I bought a Garmin Nuvi Sat Nav a few weeks back. Bought a Givi motorbike case and ran a wire to a ciggy socket. Even downloaded a wee motorbike as my 'vehicle' type. I know...easily pleased. Also has a MP3 player as well. Bought a bluetooth adapter for the headphones and on my way. Well pleased with it all. Used it today to get to an obscure place in Glasgow. Great, straight to front door.
Anyway on my way back I turned it on. It has a security feature that asks you for a pin number. Having the big biker gloves on I typed in the wrong code. The bloody thing then locked me out and wouldn't let me in until I reached the security location....which is home  Angry.

So if someone stole your SatNav, it wouldnt work again until they returned it to your house? Smiley Or does it guide them to your house so they can rob that too? Smiley
